TROY D. RANDALL, PH.D.
Troy earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Denver and his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from Duke University. While at Duke, Troy participated in the Genetics Training Program as an NIH Predoctoral Fellow.

Upon finishing graduate school, Troy was awarded a Helen Hay Whitney Postdoctoral fellowship to study hematopoietic stem cell biology with Dr. Irving Weissman at Stanford University. After a short time as a Visiting Scientist at DNAX Research Institute, Troy joined Trudeau Institute in 1997.

Troy's lab currently has several major projects including 1) the role of local lymphoid tissues in respiratory immunity, 2) vaccination and immunity to influenza virus and 3) role of CD40 signaling in immunity.

In 2008, Troy joined the University of Rochester, Division of Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology as a Professor. He continues at the Trudeau Institute as an Adjunct Faculty Member.
