LAWRENCE L. JOHNSON, PH.D.

Larry received his Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Maine in 1980 for research performed in Donald Bailey’s laboratory at the Jackson Laboratory. He did postdoctoral work with William Dove at the McArdle Laboratory of the University of Wisconsin, where he subsequently became a lecturer.

In 1984 he joined the Trudeau Institute and is currently a Full Member. His main research interest is in the area of innate and acquired resistance to opportunistic eukaryotic pathogens, with emphasis on the protozoan parasite, Toxoplasma gondii.
